Walk In Bathtub

Walk In Bathtub

Because it's a great addition that I think just about any homeowner could appreciate for a number of reasons! If you want the kind of relaxing, therapeutic experience that you only thought was possible when you visit the spa, then you should know that this is the kind of tub that will give you just that. Your typical 18'' deep soaking tubs can only scratch the surface when it comes to giving you the kind of bathing experience that will leave you feeling at ease when you’re in the water and completely renewed after you’ve stepped out, so think about putting a walk-in tub in your bathroom if stress relief is something you look for when you bathe.

In our own remodeling jobs where installing a walk-in comes into play, we rely on tubs made by American Standard to give our customers what they need.

Some of those features including in these particular types of tubs are things like:

  • A quick drain that reduces the time you have to wait before being able to leave the tub
  • Different sizes, meaning that there’s an option available to you regardless of the size of the bathroom.
  • Versatility, so that you can include or exclude options like water jets, air jets, aromatherapy and light therapy, which allow you to relax your troubles away as you see fit.

These are just a few of the reasons why I prefer tubs made by American Standard, but I also prefer them because of the sturdy, welded steel frame construction that assured me durability would not be an issue in the future.

When we install a walk-in tub, the job typically involves a large filling spout with a handheld shower handle that the customer can use for easier, more efficient hair washing, so that’s also something to consider if this is a style of tub you want for your bathroom.

Beyond that, surround systems and overhead reading lights are also popular additions to this kind of project, as they can complement the jets, hydrotherapy, and other relaxation methods that come with the tub.

Take a look at the above picture to get a clear idea for what the finished product could look like.

Notice how the tub not only has conveniently placed storage for towels, but the window next to the tub provides a scenic view outside of the home so that user can take in the sights while they soak.

This is just one of many examples of what we can do for you in order to give you the amenities that you want in your home’s bathroom.

While we complete hundreds of custom bath projects per year, no two of them are exactly alike, so you’ll be getting something unique that will bring you comfort and enjoyment for years to come.

So, if this sounds like something that you want to do in one of the bathrooms in your home, feel free to take a look at our website, design your own bath,  contact us online for a free estimate!
