1. Where are you located?

We are located in Columbia, MD. Our address is 8835 M Columbia 100 Parkway Columbia, MD 21045

2. How much do estimates cost?

Estimates are completely FREE!

3. Will I need a permit for my project?

A permit is typically required for remodeling projects that change the structure's existing footprint, electrical system, plumbing and/or structural load changes.  

4. Do you have in-house designers?

Yes! We have award-winning designers that have been working at Starcom Design Build for many years.

5. What factors impact cost?

Depending on your specific project, there will be various factors impacting cost. Generally speaking: access to the space, size of the renovation, current state of plumbing and electrical, finishes, and appliances. 

6. Do you belong to any professional organizations?

We belong to the National Kitchen and Bathroom Association (NKBA), Maryland Remodeling Council, Home Builders Association of Maryland (MBIA) and have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. 

7. How long have you been in business for?

We have been in business for 33 years. 

8. What should I expect at our first meeting?

You should expect to discuss the goal that you want to achieve with your project, your budget and your timetable.

9. Are your services limited to kitchens and bathrooms?

No, we are a full-service design/build company. We do it all!

10. Do you have a showroom?

Yes, our design center is located at our office in Columbia. 

11. How do I know when it is time to replace a window?

It is probably time to replace a window if it is drafty, it is difficult to open or close, there is condensation accumulating between the glass panes or you have higher than average energy bills.

12. Are you licensed?

We are licensed and bonded. Our license number is 24247-01.
