Over 35 years ago, Bob Weickgenannt turned his passion for building and problem-solving into what is now Starcom Design Build. Today, we've grown into one of the premier remodelers within a 45-minute radius of Columbia, MD. 

Our expertise extends beyond just remodeling. While we specialize in residential renovations—such as home additions, kitchen, and bathroom transformations—we also build new homes and take on light commercial projects. At the core of what we do is our commitment to executing projects “From Concept to Completion.” From the moment of the first phone call, we handle the design, develop comprehensive plans, and see every project through to its completion. 

Starcom Design Build is a multimillion-dollar company with an average of 10 or more projects running simultaneously at any given time. Our headquarters is located at 8835 M Columbia 100 Pkwy, Columbia, MD 21045, where we operate out of 3,000 square feet of office space, complemented by additional storage facilities. 

Bob Weickgenannt remains an active, hands-on leader. His focus is not only on building great homes but on building a strong, cohesive team. At Starcom, we hire friendly, dedicated people who share our values, our average employee tenure is over 12 years. We also stand by our loyal customer base. We're now remodeling homes for the children of our original clients!
