Before & After

Sunroom Addition, Highland, MD

A Family wanting to expand their home decided a Sunroom would be the best solution. Reaching out to Starcom, we would have to them some ideas on how to expand their home. Decided on reworking their deck, and second story window, there would be a Sunroom Addition that would provide the existing home more open concept space and natural lighting.

The removal of the Deck, Siding, and Second Story Window would have to take place, but out with the old comes the new! Semi Gloss on the Trim, Flat on the Ceiling and Egg Shell on the walls would be the color choice for this new space. Pella Encompass White Vinyl Windows would be installed with the Energy Star Low E Argon Glass. No Grids or Screens would damper the view into their wooden land. A total of 6 Windows would be installed on the home. 2 Pella 350 Series Doors with Blinds would make it possible to access the Remodeled Deck. The 6 Foot Patio Doors would have exterior Key Locks installed. For the Ceiling, 4 Velux Skylights would be installed with the Energy Star Glass.

This Sunroom would also be fitted with a Mitsubishi Mini Split System to allow the Sunroom to have Heating and Air Conditioning. Lastly, installed would be installation, wiring, and lights/overhead fan. For the Deck it would be replaced, repainted, and added would be a custom pathway made in cut stone. For the flooring inside the Haines Gold Laminate Flooring would be put in the color of "Tawny".

This project transformed the original home to have a Family Room Sunroom Addition that helped open the home up and offer a comfortable location in the home. The Family fully furnished with a TV, Couch, Decorations, and were still able to use their deck.
