This 21 year old home had a bathroom that was in serious need of some TLC. The homeowners called on us to transform the space, and make it not only practical but also beautiful. In place of the tub and shower we created a double vanity with granite countertops and cherry cabinetry in a nutmeg finish. In between the sinks was not only space for additional storage, we also created the perfect vanity area for applying makeup.
Looking for a more updated look, Starcom was able to change this bathroom and shower. A lower entry threshold, grab bars, shower bench help to make the bathroom more comfortable for the owners to age in place safely.
The home owner wanted a more sleek look, more light, and easier access to the shower it's self. There was more counter space (with cabinets) added along with a lighter paint scheme which helped brighten the room.
The result was a safter, more inviting, bathroom which the home owner loved!
Family moving into their grandparent's home wanted to update the living space for their growing family and take care of their grandmother. Living close to the wilderness, the family agreed on customizing their bathroom into a cozy modern style utilizing wooden floors and for one section of the wall were the mirrors & sinks are placed.
A dark wooden floor and wall was picked out contrast well with the greenery outside the windows. The windows picked out were placed high to allow in lighting without taking away the privacy of the bathroom. The walk-in shower was installed with a 3/8ths thick clear glass shower door with a dead panel and swing door.
The toilet is placed in a separate, smaller room, allowing the use of the bathroom and walk in closet to still be used while maintaining privacy. The bath was installed next to the walk-in shower. and has a good view of the back yard and wood's line.
The cool dark tones work well in contrasting the sinks, lighting, and bath. The natural lighting and greenery from outside make the bathroom a cozy area of the home and features a full walk-in closet. The transformation for the growing family found that Starcom could remodel their bathroom for years to come.
Updating a bathroom not only allows a better look and feel, but also the newer materials last longer, safer, and more friendly for the user both using and cleaning. This bathroom was a complete change from parts to style. Neutral colored shower tile that will be beautiful for years to come.
With a nice change in style, the home owner has since enjoyed their new bathroom remodel. The tiling is good for a shower but also looks and works well as a back splash for kitchens too!
The possibilities to update functionality while keeping a timeless look is possible.
Client wanted a new, fresh, modern looking style for their bathroom. The issue was the bathroom was dated, small, hard to clean. These problems were easy to fix however. With some time planning the color schemes, styles, and rearranging the bathroom for more space.
Large tiles prove to be easy to clean. With the uninstall of the old outdated shower, a larger, more modern shower would replace it. Calm greys and more lighting proved to brighten up the bathroom and feel more homely. The sleek design of this bathroom fixed all the older bathroom style. The upgraded bathroom also supports a multi-head shower.
The client now enjoys their new space with way more ease than the older, cramped style from the past.
