Our clients were tired of their tiny kitchen. The size of the cooking and dining area was far too cramped. It was an inadequate workspace offering very little storage space. Counter space was almost non-existent. They were ready to bring their 100 year old home into the 21st century. Their kitchen had been remodeled non-professionally many times over the years and the "patchwork" result was apparent. Their dream was to have a stylish, spacious kitchen which was much more functional and efficient.
The homeowners were happy with the layout of their kitchen but wanted a serious update.
Our client came to us with frustrations about her kitchen island. It was an unusual shape and the dishwasher was not next to the sink. This caused drips all over her wood floor and irritation. She also disliked the bar height seating. The island was original to the home and a builder grade "one size fits all" error.
Starcom rebuilt the style and dimensions to utilize the space to function better and update the look. With a more spacious concept the client was able to use the kitchen more effectively by condensing the kitchen products while keeping and improving counter space. By positioning this area more open too allows an open concept for the kitchen. This open space concept allows the kitchen to have less cramping and more cooking!
The finish project excited the client and she felt the tailored adjustments were a big improvement than what she had been working with.
This kitchen was too cramped and confined. Cabinets that take advantage of all vertical space with the appliances had to be changed. While the kitchen itself needed to be redesigned, the home owner was offered different materials to update their backsplash, counter top, and cabinets.
The change to open the space up and allow more counter top space, the microwaved moved away from the oven, and a clean looking new backsplash, counter top, and cabinets were done to this kitchen.
The ending result was an updated and functional kitchen remodel that the client loved!
New Homeowners wanted to customize their first floor to fit their needs. Starcom Design Build would make the Kitchen into an Open Concept to make the interior first floor more inviting.
By removing the walls surrounding the kitchen, they were able to create an open floor plan perfect for hosting large family gatherings.
The end result was a spacious first floor that tied in the living room and kitchen.
