Wounded Veteran's home was converted into a smart home!
The home accommodated all his needs for his wheelchair. The door was now remote controlled to be open a easy one floor layout for easy mobility, and a fully functional bathroom that would make his daily life easier. The main floor consisted in the rest of the home but offering him privacy with a full bedroom and office (with a tv that is remote controlled to swing down from the ceiling). His office on the other side of the room ready for whatever he has planned that day to be accomplished! Down a small hall was his big bathroom with all the gadgets he needs to feel at home. The shower was built with no lip, making his wheelchair accessible. Railing was installed everywhere he wanted. The smart toilet is in easy reach and the sink he picked out the style to add that extra homely touch. Even the sink countertop was lowered and the mirror slightly tilted downward for easy usage. The outside of the home was built a convent ramp to access his remote-controlled door but also onto a deck he can look out into his yard and woods.
The family was overjoyed with the finish touches from Starcom. The new smart home remodeling, addition, practically a new home for this growing family had transformed from their ever-changing life into modern comfort. Starcom would later go back out to this home for a checkup. The family was still extremely happy and grateful for the transformation to their home after a few months later.
This client for Starcom needed more space for their expanding family. Starcom was able to build them more space with a room, closet, and bathroom! Not taking up much more space in the back yard, the project seamlessly was added to the home to accommodate the family's need for more room.
With customed color styles for the rooms, materials picked out by the client with help from the designer, this expansion to the home added more modern elements while giving the family more room to spread out. The materials used were up to date matched the home. With the home matching well with the original, the homeowner was pleased to see everything coming into focus.
The client was able to enjoy their new space with no issue. The quality of the materials used will last a lifetime and will forever be a focal point for the new expansion.
Imagine the excitement of a loving family as they embarked on a transformative journey with Starcom Design Build to create the perfect In-Law Suite for their beloved grandparents.
The journey began with a complete overhaul of the kitchen. Starcom Design Build used Sherwin Williams Pro Mar 400 Low VOC Latex Paint to give the kitchen a fresh, vibrant look. Both beautiful and functional the space was ensuring a welcoming environment for the two families to congregate in a focal point of the home. The Kitchen backsplash was a timeless design picked by the family with the help of our designer. Modern and a timeless look with the whites and dark blues made the large Kitchen stylish and easy to clean.
The living room was next on the list. Starcom Design Build expanded the space, creating a larger, more inviting area for the family to gather other than the Kitchen. The Open-Concept Design allowed natural light to flood in, highlighting the cozy areas that overlooked the backyard.
The new bathroom for the In-Law Suite had a modern tub, beautiful double sink with custom picked tiling. Tiling also was picked out for the floor to ceiling in the shower walls which added a touch of luxury and personality.
The Family were overjoyed with the results. The In-law Suite not only provided a beautiful, functional space for their Grandparents but also brought the entire family closer together. Thanks to Starcom's devotion in quality work and professional planning, the family can stay united in a beautiful home.
Transforming this home from outdated and dingy, to new and contemporary. We added stonework to the front of the home to draw the eye in and give some visual interest. The porch was updated and redone, and the entire house was given all new siding in a new color to really change the whole look of the home. That's curb appeal!
A dark and uninviting kitchen needed a makeover. With increased cabinet space and a bright demeanor, this Ellicott City family was extremely pleased with their new space. The white cabinetry and light granite create a seamless look that will look beautiful for years to come.
